So, it’s been ages since I’ve updated the News section on the site, but that doesn’t mean nothing’s been happening, I’ve just been too busy to sit down and sort out the website! Needless to say, the last couple of years, with the Covid pandemic have been crazy for all of us and is still such a hard time for musicians and live venues. I’m desperately hoping we’re turning a corner with this as 2022 promises to be a great year for so many reasons…

First up, there’s a new Emily Francis Trio album coming out! LUMA will be released in April with hopefully (Covid permitting) a follow-up UK tour – dates to be announced! We will be kicking things off with the launch of the album’s first single, ‘Idol’, on 27th Jan, and an album launch gig at the world famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club on 21st April. Can’t wait for everyone to hear this and for us to share this new music with you all! Other than that I’m excited to see what 2022 brings – new gigs and opportunities, and hopefully a return to lots of live music!
